News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Mar. 28, 2014: A Jamaican man wanted since October for cocaine trafficking, has been busted by the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force of the US Marshals Service.

Oneil McKenzie was on Wednesday nabbed after he was spotted driving a Mercedes-Benz SUV in Brooklyn. He was reportedly carrying about US$300,000 in cash on him at the time.

McKenzie is alleged to have used an Albany woman to help import large shipments of cocaine and marijuana that, combined, had a street value estimated at more than US$3 million.

His alleged accomplice, Deondra Forney, was arrested on October 9th.

McKenzie was arraigned in US District Court in Brooklyn on a charge of possession with intent to distribute more than five kilos of cocaine.

Law enforcement officers estimate the cocaine to be valued at about US$2 million, which Albany County Assistant District Attorney Francisco Calderon said is the single largest cocaine seizure in the Capital Region. An arrest warrant was issued on October 28th.
